Abstract

The research deals with the structure of time and the way it is formed, the temporal overlap, breaking the order in narrating events, and trying to write the novel according to multiple time frames (present-past-future) or (past-present) outside and inside the novel, and its departure from the usual narrative pattern, and the special dealing with time, so the temporal arrangement came according to the writer's vision, which is related to the nature of events that refer to the past through flashback, in addition to the diversification in his use of acceleration techniques (summary and deletion) and slowing down (scene and descriptive pause), which added to the narrative structure of each of its sections an overlapping diversification that comes within the nature of the events.
