The poets faced several challenges to the rulers of the Abbasid state, as the first axis included an explicit challenge to many caliphs, such as Al-Rashid, Al-Mamun and Al-Amin, and the second axis was indirectly challenged, and these poets include dabbel ibn Ali al-Khuza'i, al-Sayyid Al-Humairi, Dick Al-Jinn and Mansur, most notably dabbel Al-Khuza'i, who issued scathing critical challenges to the Abbasid state, who rule the land in corruption and tyranny at will for their whims, violating that right and justice to challenge the poet in the language of poetry, because it is a clear language it has a spirit of defiance, revolution and opposition to power, and bravely challenges them without fear or suspicion of power.
