Abstract

The research aims to know the scientific certificates that were granted by scientists of Mosul to scholars of science in the 6th and 7th centuries AH. The city of Mosul had the privilege of having many scientists and Sheiks who were pioneers in many aspects. Some of them granted scientific certificates to students of science who traveled to the city of Mosul so as to get science or hear one of the Sheiks so as to get the scientific certificate, especially in the field of religious sciences, including greetings, the prophetic hadith, and jurisprudence, among other things. The great majority of scientists who granted scientific certificates were of the famous and well-known celebrities in the city of Mosul at that era. The majority of the students of sciences, who were granted scientific certificates and were mentioned in the historical sources, were the celebrities of their period of time.
