Abdullah ibn al-Khabbab is regarded as one of the figures who left a profound mark on the pages of Islamic history, particularly during the period of the Rightly Guided Caliphate and the ensuing unrest. His father, al-Khabbab ibn al-Aratt, was among the earliest Muslims who were tortured for their faith, an experience that deeply influenced the upbringing of his son Abdullah. Following in his father’s footsteps, Abdullah remained steadfast in his devotion to Islam and his commitment to truth. He was known for his noble character and his close association with Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
