Abstract

       This research reveals the historical, social, political, and cultural roles of Arab women in Islamic and Norman Sicily during the 7th-8th centuries AH (11th-12th centuries CE) through an examination of the material we have found and their contributions to these aspects of life, even under Norman rule.
