Abstract

         It should be noted that the collections studied did not originate simultaneously, but rather in different periods, some dating back to the Rashidun Caliphate, and some dating back to the Umayyad era. I have attempted to discuss in detail how each collection of poems has evolved since its creation. I also discuss the Arabization of Umayyad coins and currency.
