Abstract

The Qur'anic stories offer great lessons in seizing opportunities by studying the lives of prophets and righteous people, and how they were leaders and preachers, seizing crucial moments with the grace of God Almighty.

The Holy Qur'an shows us that the wise person is the one who reads events with the eye of faith, transforming trials into new beginnings that completely change the course of life. Opportunities do not always come in a comfortable and peaceful manner; there are bound to be difficulties and trials. Every situation in the Qur'anic stories is a call to repent at the appropriate moment and to work hard. The Holy Qur'an instills in us the mindset of initiative, sound investment, and trust in God Almighty's promise.
