Abstract

 This research presents, through analysis, classification, and discussion, the views of Ibn Sina (d. 426 AH) on climate, which he presented in his book, "The Canon of Medicine," published in 411 AH (1020 AD). Although the book is primarily a medical text, Ibn Sina presents his precise ideas about the four seasons, temperature, and humidity. The book also addresses the effects of the seasons on various diseases and the heart. The importance of this research lies in its provision of important explanations for those working in the medical field and those specializing in applied climate, specifically health climate. We hope that this research will encourage exploration of the valuable information contained in our Arab-Islamic history.
