Sayed Mari is one of the most important Egyptian figures in the modern history of Egypt, until he was mentioned as a man of all ages. His contact with the political world came through Mahmoud Fahmi al-Naqrashi, a friend of his father, Ahmad Effendi Mari, who were members of the Wafd party and then the Sadiyya party. As a small deputy in the Egyptian parliament for the period (1945_1949) during which the need to reform the conditions of the peasant living in economic and social aspects, and supported all the projects seeking it, and then sent Naqrashi on a visit to Palestine, where he wrote a detailed report on Jewish settlements and at the end of the report that
