Abstract

       This research aims to study the most prominent and famous private libraries in the Abbasid state, focusing on the fundamental role they played in advancing various sciences and identifying the most significant challenges they faced in preserving the scientific heritage for future generations. especially since they found educational, cultural, and scientific services in these libraries, which represent a cultural edifice and manifestation in the lives of nations and peoples because they are one of the most important means of spreading knowledge throughout the ages. Libraries helped these societies develop and propelled them on the path to progress and success
