Abstract

One of the ways to show gratitude to Muslim scholars is by studying their biographies, tracing the paths they took in their pursuit of knowledge, and understanding the hardships and challenges they faced throughout their lives. We observe that all scholars of the Islamic nation, regardless of their backgrounds or fields of expertise, left a clear impact on public life in several fields : scientific, administrative, economic, or political. Among these scholars was Al-Hafidh Zain ad-Din al-‘Iraqi (may Allah have mercy on him), who had a distinct scholarly influence due to his intellectual brilliance, strong memory, and numerous contributions across various disciplines, especially in the science of Hadith. This study is a concise research focusing on the life and scholarly contributions of Al-Hafidh Zain ad-Din al-‘Iraqi. It highlights his personal and academic background, his status among scholars, his teachers and students, and his authored works. We have kept the study brief and to the point to maintain its conciseness
