Abstract

This research shed light on the most important architectural  archeological characteristics that specialize  its brick buildings either it was religious touch as schools mosques ,shrines Hospices and churches  or Service  as markets palaces houses or military as Walls and castles. The research concentrates on the most important architectural elements Which are common to most buildings, such as entrances, curtains, courtyards, and halls. The research covers the roofing methods in Baghdad’s buildings, as well as the brick decorations that decorated the outsides and insides of the buildings, regardless of their different functions, and contributed to their elegance and status
