Abstract

Allah Almighty sent His noble messenger (Peace be Upon Him) with this religion, that is based in its legislation on Quranic texts and noble Prophetic speeches (hadiths). Anything beyond that is interpretations of these texts, and over time these interpretations have turned into sacred ones. Many scholars believe that they are fixed and unchangeable, while the sanctity and stability belong to the Quranic texts and correct Prophetic speeches (hadiths). Anything else is subject to change or modification, according to the criteria of the Quran and authentic Sunnah.
