Abstract

   When studying Islamic history in general and the history of the Levant in particular, we must stand at the most important topics that played an important role in the recording of history, including the recording of genealogies in order to know the genealogies of people and their role in the events that took place in Islamic history, because they have a vivid image and a realistic embodiment of the ideals and high principles that the Islamic message came with, especially the Umayyad interest in preserving Arab genealogies, especially after the Islamic conquests and the entry of non-Arabs into Islam
