Christianity is one of the major monotheistic religions that originated in the Middle East, and Jesus, peace be upon him, is considered central to it. While Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of God, and part of the Trinity, Islam considers Jesus, son of Mary, to be one of God's prophets. Despite the difference in concept and belief, there are many common points between the two religions regarding Jesus, peace be upon him. Over the centuries, there has been continuous interaction and dialogue between Muslims and Christians, and in this context, the Prophetic hadiths related to the Christian religion recorded Islam’s vision of Jesus, the Christians, and the concept of the Christian religion. This topic seeks to review these hadiths and understand the Islamic vision of the Christian religion through the words of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
