Abstract

The Qur'an narrates various scenes and situations that will take place on the Day of Judgment, including those involving the people of Hell. The Qur'an records all that they wish and desire. These requests are varied: sometimes they ask to be removed from Hell, sometimes they seek the alleviation of their punishment, and at other times they wish to return to the world. These requests are presented in different forms: sometimes they appear as commands that are intended as supplications
